Tia Brazda has Cabin FeverIn preparation for her upcoming EP release Tia Brazda has released a video on YouTube for the title track, Cabin Fever. I wrote this tune with Tia and Emma-Lee, and it’s one of my favourite collaborations from the past year. Stay tuned, Tia Brazda‘s new EP, Cabin Fever drops on February 14th and has 2 songs we co-wrote, Cabin Fever and Man Up.
Shot In The Dark back on iTunes Charts Emma-Lee‘s Shot In The Dark is back on the iTunes charts this month, recently hitting #34 on the top Jazz singles in the USA and #28 in Greece. The song originally hit the charts in October 2011 when it appeared on Lifetime Network’s reality show Dance Moms, at that time peaking at #22 in the US and #11 in Greece. It has also inspired a series of tribute Youtube videos by young fans of the show – featuring everything from solo and group dance routines that the young girls choreographed themselves to homemade commercials for Britney Spears perfume… super cute! “Not Coming By” Video PremiereEmma-Lee‘s official video for Not Coming By (directed by Josh Warburton) premiered this morning on MOKB. They called the song “A deliriously catchy (North) Americana number that overtakes you like a cool evening fog, slowly gaining energy before finally exploding into a shower of Marachi-flavoured horns.” Not Coming By is the first single from Emma-Lee’s upcoming record Backseat Heroine, which was produced by Marc Rogers and yours truly. It Won’t Be Christmas (Till You’re Here) on NCIS It Won’t Be Christmas (Till You’re Here) by Julie C was featured in the opening scene of NCIS: Los Angeles last night! The episode is called Higher Power. I especially liked how the lyric “it’s not about the 25th, it’s about the one you’re with” synced up with the scene where the couple gets their sexy on… Watch the episode on CBS’s website (USA)

Shot In The Dark featured on Lifetime’s “Dance Moms”Shot in the Dark, performed by Emma-Lee, has been featured on Lifetime Network’s popular reality competition series Dance Moms. It was previously featured in an episode of HBO Canada’s Bloodletting + Miraculous Cures. Shot in the Dark was co-written by myself and Emma-Lee, produced by yours truly and is now available on iTunes!
Fairytale Ending released! Mike Ferfolia‘s brand new album Pop Star Reject just hit iTunes and it features Fairytale Ending, a ballad I co-wrote with the my talented friend Maxwell Roach. Mike has the voice of an angel, and we met when I asked him to come in and sing on some tracks. One of the songs was an early demo of Fairytale Ending… and as soon as Mike started to sing, it was immediately clear that he was the perfect singer to perform it! |
