Bowling For Columbine is a movie that everyone needs to see. Amazing and thought provoking... I went surfing the movie website afterwards and did a good amount of reading there too... and I have officially sworn off shopping at Wal-mart until they stop carrying handgun ammunition.

People who know me and how I used to shop at Wal-mart a lot will be surprised. Quite surprised. Hey, when you're a broke musician, you go where you can afford to buy your toothpaste, bare necessities, cat litter. But my shopping list never included handgun ammo.... as I'm sure so many people who shop there never care about. Does Wal-mart need to sell it to survive? Hardly.... they censor lyrics in music, even refuse to carry some music (see Sheryl Crow's 2nd album) because of their "family values" but then across north america they sell ammunition that kills family members in our very own communities.

I figured... I'll miss shopping at Wal-mart... but not as much as I'd miss a family member who was killed as a result of ammunition sold there.
