ok i know it's been a long time... yikes... may 29th... a really long time! The good news is we're returning some of the rentals tomorrow, meaning that we're done certain parts of the album! Experimenting with more electric guitar sounds... spent the day recording today and got drums booked for Tues.....

i stretched my chef's muscles this weekend, with my once or twice a year specialty, my spicy lasagne with spinach and mushrooms. Redesigning the web site for a temporary new facelift until album time... looking forward to unveiling it!! Missed the muchmusic video awards (happening a few blocks down the street) in light of seeing Seamus Blake from New York, in town for the jazz fest...

watched Harry Potter for the first time! cool little movie... does Harry go back for more years at school? The only books i can stomach of late are cheesy 20-or-30-something romances containing single dating women (ala bridget jones)... but i did finish the Ani Difranco biography published here in Canada.... what i found kinda interesting was the analysis of her lyrics, song by song, album by album... i haven't had time to listen to enough albums but the ones I know, i found it kinda cool.
