tired and rosy from my trip to Nashville. Marc and I were performing at the Acoustic Image booth at the NAMM show. It was my first time at a NAMM show so I made sure to take in as much of the sights and sounds as possible... i think i personally cleared out the free magazine section, and have enough egg shakers and guitar picks to last the rest of the year, if not my entire life!

plenty of interesting thoughts and observations to spill out here but i've got a session starting in an hour so gotta run for now!

i've been a bad bad girl... not posting! but life has been a complete tornado of good and ok... and as i write this i am about to leave for a studio to finish our remaining drum tracks. the record is almost completely tracked, minus a few electric guitar lead parts to come this week, and for some tunes we've already begun mixing.

spent last weekend in the states driving in my now un-airconditioned car (thanks Wes in Albany, who did an impromptu car exam to confirm that nothing seems to be seriously broken, just the coolent needs recharging)... but even in 30 degree weather it's nice driving on the highway, windows wide open, lotsa wind.... it's just that as soon as you stop you melt!!!!

alright. car is leaving without me if i don't hustle! i'll be back sooner this time, i promise!
