last night's in-store gig at Indigo Books was really fun... marc and I left feeling really good (we even got the world's best parking spot... right in front of the main door! on the way home however, we had quite an adventure... sat with growling stomach (marc) and urgent bladder (me) in absolutely maddening gridlocked traffic about 5 blocks from our place for 35 min... (we moved 1 block every 10 minutes) and eventually had to turn AWAY from our place and make a huge detour of about 20 blocks or more to go all the way to approach our place from the west instead of the east, at which point we got home to realize that we're locked out of our parking spot (guess we need to pay that!) and had to do some wrangling to find an unlocked door to drag our gear through to the elevators. All's well that ends well though... marc got his chicken wings and i got my washroom... and we found a few episodes of Law and Order that we hadn't watched yet (criminal intent, not the original, unfortunately!). Oh Law and Order Gods... please release season 3!
