burnt the roof of my mouth on delicious hot and sour soup and my favorite spring rolls late last night after the gig with Tamara. fun times... but ugh the snow on our way home... i guess winter isn't quite over yet.

i wonder if i can get my palm pilot working again. stupid thing faulty design/battery draining keys. i think the battery might have permanent damage. it would be fun to have it around, especially when i need my calendar with me. or maybe i'm less "wired" without it? nah...

i wonder who we'll be hanging out with this coming friday at the street team party... everyone's invited, including people who are new to the idea of a "street team". rsvp to management@karenkosowski.com ! it will be the night after the kings show in toronto... i promise not to be as hung over as the day after the last one lol.... ;)

worked on a new mix of Can't Control It today, and made a first stab at Look Into Your Heart. going well... even on a busy day like today. really missing the demon choir samples from the hard drive that went down a couple months ago but am making do as best as I can withouth them.

it's a beautiful clear-sky day outside... too bad i won't be getting out to enjoy it.
there always comes a line.

technology is great... technology is forgiving... but there comes a line when you're just milli vanilli

you have to know when to draw the line, guys.

...but everyone was catering to the lowest common denominator.

try not to think about penguins.
it's so silly, but i'm excited by the fact that my myspace friends list is about to hit 200. lol. who will be #200?? it could be you! add me now... i'll let you know if you get to be the lucky #200.

did not come to any resolutions about the juno trip today. it's hard when marc's on tour in another time zone... trying to coordinate time schedules gets harder the farther west he is.

i'm finally going to do my laundry and clean my bathroom!! it's been such a crazy week that i just have had no time to do simple things like that. i went out with marc and the boys on some of their promo stuff, designed a cd cover for a friend, and played 2 gigs. i spent a lot of time today working on a song for the National Sound EP... ended up pulling out the synth for some more playing around. :) it was fun and great to get back working on new recordings. i'm still struggling with parts of the lyrics on the most recent NS song... i think it's really strong... just a couple verses are eluding me... they're out there floating around in the ether though, i know. i just gotta keep coming back to the page and mucking around in the language and eventually it forms itself. so, on the list for the coming week... schedule more mucking time.

slept late, had to reschedule my day... marc left early this morning for the kings tour so my concept of time was off. amidst him packing last night we were trying to figure out the trip to halifax and were finding that most hotels are already all booked and air canada has seemingly no flights available at that time using aeroplan points... may have to bite the bullet on the plane tix but as far as hotels go, we hope it's because the juno housing office has reserved a block of rooms? maybe that's why there's a juno housing office... will call and inquire today. *fingers crossed*

ok, so if you've ever had your own website, and viewed your site traffic statistics through a traffic analyzer, you know that it generates reports about your visitors, giving you interesting information like what keywords or phrases anonymous people entered into Google or whatever search engine... key phrases that led them to find your little website. I've found that while some make total sense (ie: searching for "kosowski" or "karen kosowski") some of them can be really funny and random, really making me scratch my head in wonder. I thought i'd share some of the funnier phrases with you... and if you can figure out how these phrases led people to MY website, i'd love to know:

- tim hortons gravesite
- ferrero rocher give me the night
- swears from a to z
- the hardest question in the world
- tofu tortillas
- does wal-mart sell sushi?
- tinwhistle titanic
- veclempt
- aunt ann spanking
- skinamarink mp3
- bush words spliced to make song
- everyone loves raymond sound board
- mythology blueberries
- weather on january 30 2005 in cleveland oh
- llbo liquor delivery
- i don t want to go to the gym
- cajun seasoning and bronchitis
- bronchitis cheese and onion
- brittany tit
- chuck e. cheeses toronto
- why are musicians flakey?
- toronto strep-throat walk-in

and lastly my personal favorite..."what happened to roxette" . This one shows up a a search term a LOT - in 2005, it showed up 21 times with no punctuation, 8 more times with a "?" at the end, and one time with the word "whatever" instead of "what"!!! Now, I don't remember ever having any Roxette-related content on my website... ???!! And who are all these people searching for Roxette? I don't think about them, and i did grow up as a child of the Roxette age.... come to think of it, what DID happen to them?? lol i'm tempted to go search now.
