mmm good day. laughing our asses off singing gang vocals for a NS tune. mixing is getting closer. i have a small list of the odd touch ups to do on the EP... the listening session today was exciting! also working on "secret project" that will be announced soon. feeling creative. had a good gym workout, though i had to drag my ass to get to the gym in the first place. wine as reward. mmm.

have been very busy and inspired these last few days... finally getting down to it and MIXING the national sound ep. just striking everything else (most things) from the todo list and devoting myself to it. i'm happy to say that all 6 songs are mixed now, with the odd touchups needed once i put them all on a playlist and compare. also, have another undertaking that has come up in the last couple days re: my kk stuff and i'm very excited about it too, but i'm not going to say anything quite yet! the mailing list will find out first...

my day is always better than this

seems that everyone else is gradually getting the flu that's been going around. tamara had to cancel our gig tomorrow night, poor thing... it's her turn. I've been working on a mix for national sound today... nice to get back at this. however, we're gonna have to step out in a bit, because the construction workers on the floor above us are going to be cutting a 15 foot trench in the concrete floor. fun. i don't want to be around to hear that. :(
