ugh. awake after a fairly sleepless night, waiting for word from the auto shop. last night driving home from richmond hill we had some hair-raising brake trouble... luckily we got the car to the auto shop safely by driving really slow with hazzards on and hands on parking brake... walked our gear home in the rain. (yes it was raining too - it was not fun!). i have an afternoon gig in Markham that i'm not sure we'll be able to make... just waiting on word about what's wrong and how fast it can be fixed...

just noticed that the journal archives weren't working... they're fixed now. sorry about that!

it's been a couple rainy days here and it's kinda nice. encourages sleeping in and slowing down.

we missed the new house episode last night... will have to catch up. also enjoyed the first few episodes of Psyche.

really looking forward to the show on friday in toronto... the band is working on some of the new tunes I wrote last month in my isolation tank. lol....

back on the road! i wake up this morning in ottawa to a beautiful sunny day. :) we got a cool free room upgrade from the hotel cuz i joined "priority club" and ended up with a huge suite with a living room, dining room, full kitchen and a great view of the parliament buildings! how's that for touring on a shoestring budget. lol...

i have an early show today here in town before we hit the road, but before that we're hoping to go to the national gallery and take a look around. I've never been, but marc was there once when the kings toured ottawa and he says it's very inspiring. :)
