searching for drums in calgary

this morning we woke up in Banff, packed up the gear and ourselves, and drove to Calgary. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, and we took the opportunity to listen to the new death cab album (awesome - great mountain music!). Upon arriving in Calgary we grabbed a bite to eat, checked into the hotel and then the guys left to go rent the drumkit for tonight's show at the Ironwood. It was then that they proceeded to discover a wrinkle in our day's otherwise smooth plans... all the music stores are closed because of the Victoria Day long weekend! After much phoning around, luckily, Calgary musicians have come to the rescue and the guys are right now picking up a borrowed kit from friends of Danielle's. (Thank you SO MUCH Chantal!!) Now we're ready to rock the house... so if you're in Calgary come on down to the Ironwood tonight!
