A little of what’s going on this week…
I have a few new demos that are almost finished but I wasn’t able to work on them this week because things were a bit hectic… the week started with some work on a project Marc’s producing for Matt McKenna and James Bloemendal. I was helping create and record background vocal harmonies, and will be lending editing assistance in the coming days as well. I wrote a spooky song with Emma-Lee from Toronto and after a couple days of recording we’ve got a really fun demo in the works that I can’t wait to share. Yesterday I co-wrote 3 tunes in a marathon session with Tyler Summers who was up visiting from Nashville. It was a late night but I woke up early this morning anyways, eager to take a listen to what we wrote (which is always a good sign). Will start work on some demos for that stuff as soon as I can.
