Motel Flamingo is top Canadian single, spends 2nd week in Top 10

 

Madeline Merlo’s single “Motel Flamingo” is still rising on the Canadian Country radio charts, at the time of writing this, currently sitting at #7!  She’s currently only female artist in the top 10 and the top Canadian artist. “Motel Flamingo” was produced by Karen Kosowski.

"Hold On" featured in the movie "Breakthrough"

 

The upcoming feature film "Breakthrough" features the song "Hold On", performed by Mickey Guyton, produced by Karen Kosowski and co-written by Mickey, Karen, and Victoria Banks. The soundtrack features songs from Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Maddie and Tae, and more. The movie hits theaters Easter 2019 and the soundtrack is coming April 5th, 2019.

Best Original Song Nomination

 

'Where The Light Used To Be' has been nominated for Best Original Song at the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards, which wiill be broadcast live from the Toronto's Sony Center on CBC Television on March 13th. 'Where The Light Used To Be' was written and performed by Peter Katz and Karen Kosowski and produced by Karen, for the WangoFilms feature length film "88" starring Katharine Isabelle and Christopher Lloyd.

Brett Kissel's single Anthem spends a second week as the top-selling Canadian single and rises to #10 on the Billboard Canada Country radio charts!  Anthem was co-written by Karen and is available on Spotify/Apple Music/Google Play now!

Alee's first single for Wax Records ended 2014 with an entry into the Top 40 and continued into 2015 for a total of 15 weeks on the Billboard Canada Country Chart.  Congrats Alee!

Music for Pan Am Games Medal Ceremonies 

 

Karen produced the music that was heard at every medal ceremony of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games.  The music is based on the original song "Shine As One", co-written with Dennis Ellsworth and Sophia D’Aragon Krim, which can hear on YouTube and download on iTunes.

Shot In The Dark and Cabin Fever featured in The Scarehouse

 

Emma-Lee’s single ‘Shot In The Dark’ (produced and co-written by Karen) is featured in a brand new thriller from filmmaker Gavin Michael Booth called “The Scarehouse”. The film won Best Feature Film at the 2014 New York City Horror Film Festival.  Tia Brazda's 'Cabin Fever' is also featured in the film, which was also co-written by Karen.

Congrats to Tryon's Somebody To Love Me grabbed the #40 spot on Medibase's Pop Radio chart today to finally break into the Top 40!   Somebody To Love Me was produced and co-written by Karen.

Where The Light Used To Be (From “88”)

 

The movie “88” features the single "Where The Light Used To be", which Peter Katz and Karen co-wrote and Karen produced specially for the film. It has also been released by Peter Katz worldwide on iTunes. “88” is a fast-paced thriller starring Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future) and Katharine Isabelle (Hannibal). The movie saw it's theatrical debut in spring 2015 and is now available on demand and on Netflix.
